Repair service, explained clearly

An estimate prices known work. An inspection reviews condition. A diagnostic finds the problem.

These are different services. Choosing the right one sets clear expectations before Exterior Echelon arrives.

Free estimate

I know what needs to be repaired

The damaged component or requested repair is already identified, so we can evaluate and price the known work.

  • Clearly identified repair or replacement
  • Basic on-site evaluation
  • Scope, materials, and pricing proposal
  • No obligation to hire Exterior Echelon

General inspection

I want an overview of the condition

A visual review of accessible exterior conditions that may identify visible wear, maintenance concerns, or signs that deserve closer attention.

This is not leak tracing, specialized testing, product research, written diagnostic findings, or an estimate for a repair that has not yet been identified. A written condition assessment is a separate $400 service.

Diagnostic inspection

I’m not sure what’s wrong

We must investigate the problem, document what we find, and determine the appropriate repair instead of guessing.

Starting at $300

Any additional diagnostic cost is explained and approved before that work proceeds.

What the fee covers

Time, expertise, tools, and documented investigation

A diagnostic may require roof or attic access, drone imaging, thermal cameras, moisture or humidity testing, product identification, or material research. Complex conditions, extended investigation, specialized testing, or product research may cost more.

Repair credit

$100 may be credited

If Exterior Echelon performs qualifying repairs totaling $650 or more, $100 of the diagnostic fee may be credited toward the repair.

The repair must be approved within 90 days of the diagnostic inspection.

Free storm assessment

Visible storm damage review

A basic visual storm assessment remains free because it is intended to identify visible hail, wind, or exterior damage and discuss the next reasonable step.

Written assessment

A separate $400 service

Any written assessment, condition report, or documentation prepared for a real-estate transaction or other third-party use is billed separately at $400.

No surprise charges

Approval comes first

If the problem requires work beyond the standard diagnostic, we explain the additional scope and price before proceeding.

Current website pricing

No retroactive changes

Website pricing may change for future appointments. Pricing and credit terms already confirmed for a scheduled diagnostic will not change retroactively.

Scope and repair limits

We stand behind our work—not conditions we could not see or work we did not perform.

Assessments and diagnostics are performed using professional judgment and the conditions reasonably accessible and observable at the time. Water can travel, and concealed, intermittent, unrelated, or pre-existing defects may exist elsewhere. An isolated repair addresses the specific condition and work described in the written proposal; it cannot guarantee that every possible leak source has been found or that a different nearby condition will not leak later.

Exterior Echelon stands behind the workmanship it actually performs, subject to the scope and warranty terms in the written proposal. Broader system or manufacturer-backed warranty coverage applies only when expressly included for a qualifying system installed by Exterior Echelon.
